Stephen M. Carter
Chief Executive Officer since November 10, 2003. Prior to this Mr. Carter served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cingular Wireless, a provider of wireless services. Prior thereto, Mr. Carter served in various positions with SBC Communications and its predecessor company, Southwestern Bell , including President and Chief Executive Officer of SBC Wireless, President of SBC Strategic and Special Markets and President/Chief Executive Officer of Southwestern Bell Telecom. His early career was spent in consumer electronics with Sony in the United Kingdom. |

Debbie Baker-Oliver
As Senior Vice President of Corporate Administrative Services, Ms. Baker-Oliver is responsible for all aspects of human resources including compensation and benefits, labor relations, and employee communications. In addition, Ms. Baker-Oliver is responsible for information technology, real estate, security and environmental controls. She assumed her current position in March 2004. Prior to joining Superior Essex, Ms. Baker-Oliver served as Executive Director of Corporate Real Estate for Cingular Wireless in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Baker-Oliver also served in various positions with SBC Communications in Dallas, TX and St. Louis, MO including Vice President of Interconnection and Director of Wholesale Marketing and Planning, in addition to senior positions in human resources and labor relations. |

Before joining the Company, Ms. Blackford served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of AirGate PCS, Inc., a PCS Affiliate of Sprint. Ms. Blackford has also served as Associate General Counsel for Corporate Governance, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions at Monsanto Company. Prior to her work at Monsanto, Ms. Blackford was a partner with the law firms Kutak Rock and Long, Aldridge & Norman. |
